These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MedScan mobile application ("App") operated by Korrali LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
MedScan allows you to photograph medicine labels and prescription bottles to identify medicines, view drug information, check for drug interactions, and maintain a personal medicine cabinet. The App uses AI-based image recognition and drug databases from the U.S. National Library of Medicine.
MedScan is for informational purposes only. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Drug interaction information is sourced from publicly available databases and may not reflect your individual health circumstances.
Always consult a licensed pharmacist or physician before making any decisions about your medications. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information you received from MedScan.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You may use the App anonymously for a limited number of scans. To access full features, you must sign in with Apple Sign In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under your account.
Certain features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are processed through Paddle. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's terms of service. Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
You agree not to:
The App, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Korrali LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Drug interaction data is sourced from the U.S. National Library of Medicine and is in the public domain.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that medicine identification will be accurate in all cases. Medicine identification is based on AI and may produce incorrect results.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Korrali LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
